So I finally opened up my little play Ameritrade account this week. This is one just to see how I can do in the stock market. There isn't enough in there to get too frantic about, its almost like poker, you win, you win. You lose, you lose. Oh well.
Anyways, one stock I picked was for Petel, Inc. (PTEL), which last week introduced a new broadband porn network to the United Kingdom. I bought my first 500 shares of them on Tuesday @ 21 cents a share. On Wednesday, the stock soared, going up at one point to .45 a share, but settling by the end of the day at .36 a share. I actually ended up buying another 750 shares on Friday at .41 a share, and by the end of the week, it closed at .42. The 1st week of sales for this company produced more than they expected for the whole month, so I am really hopin this stock goes up and up!!!
This week, to round out my very first week on the market, I also purchased some AMD and Sun stock. The end of the week had my initial $2000 investment up to $2094.18. Not bad for my first 4 days trading.
